I have been in banking since 2008, with most of my time as a Mortgage Lender. I joined Merchants Bank in 2022 and am focused on serving the home loan needs of residents in all the Chippewa Valley communities. My top tip, especially for first-time home buyers, is to start talking to a lender you’re comfortable with early on in the process. Having that discussion early on will give you a good idea of what you can afford and establish expectations for the rest of the process
